lol, Busch races had more people back then show up than they do now for a Cup race. I wish the racing was still this good. Even the bigger tracks were still fun to watch back in the early 2000s.

That crowd is crazy. Even Cup races don't get that many people in those stands anymore.

Awesome racing back then at Bristol!. I wish they didn't repave that track in 07. Sucked all of the fun out of the track when they did that!
@Bestoftheworstfishing7 жыл бұрын
triggafigga13 it was not the repave it was the progressive banking it took a 3 lane track and made it a one lane crap fest

On the restart where Randy LaJoie is in the lead, and Larry McReynolds explains how he got there, "track position, track position, track position", Darrell still upset about the fact Harvick got penalized for jumping the restart by going around LaJoie after LaJoie spun his tires because he was on older tires, Waltrip then responded to Larry by saying "that's bullshit!"

Matt Kenseth was driving for Robbie Reiser (his crew chief). The #17 Busch car Matt drove was always owned by Reiser, a former driver. Robbie sold his Busch team to Jack Roush after just a few races in 2002.

I agree 1000% with Darrell about the Harvick penalty at 1:34:59. He quietly said, "Thaaaat's bullshit." The green was CLEARLY out, and the rulebook allows passing on the right side before the start finish line as long as the green is out. Besides Dillon's career-ending injury, the BS penalty, and Santerre's heartbreak, a terrific race!
