He was amazing that day. Went to the game & remember it well. Was sat with a load of Leeds speccies who had some Australian pals with them. Great banter. I miss the Ashes. Not going to feel the same playing as England I don't think

Like the 1990 and 1994 first Ashes tests, the Poms played out of their skins in this game and all power to them. I remember watching this and it really was deja vu from previous Kangaroo Tours. But deja vu hit again and like the other series' they couldn't maintain the form.
