They told him if he felt he needed to he should take a knee because kneeling is a sign of respect for veterans who gave there life’s for him to have the ability to protest. @@z-dos8147 kneeling is a form of disrespect they have the freedom to do it but that doesn't make it not disrespectful a child has the freedom to be disrespectful to their parents but does that not make it disrespect? No. I don't agree with it I believe their are much more respectful ways too protest than to kneel during the national anthem. But I'm also going to be respectful in my approach because when you can't respect other people and just have a civil conversation about your views than why even have a democratic republic. Also I think a big problem people have with these protests is people have to deal with politics all day long at their jobs talking to coworkers, on social media , it's plastered all over movies and tv shows etc. People when they sit down to watch a game they don't want to see more politics they want to watch there favorite team win that game and just enjoy it.

@@Cody435 please I beg you to do more research before deciding to reply. Kneeling is a form of respect in the us military. Please look into it. As for more “respectful” ways to protest. In the past when African Americans protested against systematic oppression, they got sprayed with hoses, spit on,stomped on,shot, jailed, called terrorists and a much more ugly and nasty things. Why would hearing about a innocent black youth getting killed by a racist cop make you say “MaN I JUsT WaNnA WaTCH mY TEaM” You said because there “surround” by “politics” All day at work? Since when is a cop kneeling on a mans neck after he repeatedly said he couldn’t breath politics? Lee Greenwood truly sings from his heart. I'm so glad it was him who wrote and performed this most moving and patriotic song for our country. The first time I heard it I was beaming with pride inside. It makes me cry happy tears. We need that spirit to keep going when though times hit us. We need God in our hearts and lives. Thank you! Other than my mom, who lives 20 minutes from me here in W. Arkansas, and still retains her Canadian citizenship, all my relatives live in Canada. On behalf of all right-thinking Americans, I apologize for the problems the current administration is causing - and will cause in the future. Please don't blame us, we didn't vote for the idiot. :>)

If anybody deserves to be called full American he dose and yes I know the navies are the full what I’m saying is no matter who is in the White House no matter who is the House Speaker no matter who’s has control of the senate no matter what part he’s the president he still sings. God bless America.
