2002 Chevrolet Avalanche North Face Edition REVIEW

I'm planning to get one this week. Any things in particular to look for since it's such an old truck? I might be doing exhaust mod on it, do you know if Cherry bombs are any better than muffler delete? How's the drone with your current setup? It felt a bit drony in the video during gentle acceleration but may be just the recording..

Look for rust/holes along the frame rails, check the brake lines, fuel lines and look for rust on the rear by the spare tire. Also cab corners & rockers. Make sure oil pressure is around 40 psi at idle (can vary) & the transmission shifts good (firm not soft) Also the cherry bomb is perfect, can be loud when you want & quiet when you chose. Muffler delete is constantly loud & aggressive & will not be what you want if you think you don’t want drone. I don’t have drone with this at all, it’s just the microphone and whatnot

Had one summit white north face edition 360k km on it brake lines went on it sunroof jammed got moldy and cooler fluid would leak out. ll get another one for sure.

Sounds like that was a sign to part with it. If you look close there’s always one for sale somewhere. You can find one better. If you have the money for travel, go south when buying one

Sunroof, crew cab and removable back window, who needs ac right 🤣 it’s great. I love working out of it. As long as it shifts good has nice oil pressure and is structurally sound that’s all that matters! Thank you for commenting. Stay tuned for more man!

Thank you! The work i did saved it. A couple tools and some know how + time & it is great. It has amazing oil pressure and shifts great. I had a 03 that was my pride and joy, now this is just on hold till august for any more upgrades. Also gonna need a rear caliper but I’m loving it!

People are obsessed with these interiors, they’re valuable, but most are so beat, yet they fetch decent money. It amazes me
