I have similar problem with this too.rock hit my oil pan and now I'm thinking what all sizes of spanner I will need. Would you comment back and tell which sizes you use. I'd left my van a 100 miles away from where I live and come for parts so I have no idea what size spanner is needed.

Bro, there's a rubber gasket that goes between the trans and motor, it's shaped like a U. It gets installed on the block before I stalling the pan The rest of the pan get siliconed.

I have mine catching still. I was able to jack it up about 4 inches and it's still catching on the transmission pan side where the 13mm bolt was. Do I have to lift it up higher than that? If so, I guess I'll have to take the wiper assembly part out since the engine was hitting it

+cummins75901 yes actually I was swapping out a bad engine when I ran into this , I had completely installed the engine and then learned the pan was cracked. But yes I had already had my windshield wiper assembly out and didn't even think of that. One thing I for sure remember is when putting it back that exhaust was right in my way every turn , so I'd recommend taking it plumb off when putting it back , I was all kinds of aggravated when I kept bumping my fresh silicone while trying to navigate around that pipe . Luckily it sealed perfect . Also I'd recommend letting that rtv cure before tightening . I just hand tighten and let it sit for a day . Learned the hard way on not letting it cure . Hope this has been helpful and thanks for watching

I’ve removed the exhaust completely. Raised engine and removed engine mount an mount bracket. But pan is catching on corner at transmission oil pan side opposite starter side. Nothing I do will get pan to move passed it keeps catching
