I'd rather pull the engine, I can get to the casing much easier. Either way works though.. I'm changing mine out this week..

How did you know this was the problem out of everything else it could be I have stuck in between gears and no start it shows 3 little lines on the dash where it should show you what gear your in and it has not click no start because it’s not reading it’s in neutral please help

I found a wiring diagram on line. And used an voltage meter and tested the wires from the push button shift, the guage and the electric shifter and the nutural switch. Also checked all fuses and relays. The bike would start by pull starting but not e start. And when running nutural had the lines you described. I then went on to partzilla and looked at the parts diagram and found the part i needed. Also the honda forms help

Switch assembly change # 35759-hn5-a11 that's the one for this exact model. If you go to partzilla look up your model and it's on the rear crankcase cover assembly number 11 usually

@@fast77amx1 thanks, your video was a big help. I could start by grounding the green/red wire but after it was started electric shift wont work. I'll go ahead and swap out the switch assembly
