2002 Bristol Night Race final 11 laps where Jeff Gordon uses the bumper to move past Rusty Wallace in the late stages of the race. Includes post-race interviews, which are always fun after the bump and run. Get rid of the dirt and run at night on the pavement. Let the drivers create excitement.

Two legendary drivers, notice no one else was involved, no one wrecked or lost other positions. Drivers today need to watch these films as training.

One of the best Bristol races and Jeff Gordon ended his winless streak at the track.

Did you notice a bump and run not a hit and crash. Big difference from racing now. I like the old style.

Compare this race to what it’s become just 20 years later. Tough to see, I wonder if we will ever see another golden age of nascar?

I’ll never forget this night, screaming at the tv when the 24 closed the distance. That rear shot of Rusty’s car with the Du Pont logo bumping his ass out of the way. Good times, much simpler times.

Right tire is not spinning. Maybe that was their trick. (Traction control controversy) maybe that was the trick not tc. Something in the diff instead to put more power to the LR. The right will always break grip first on an oval. I’m a Gordon fan and respect the ingenuity, not throwing shade.

Something like that at short tracks is a huge advantage where saving the RR is huge, could explain Gordon’s dominance at short tracks especially in that era.

If you're talking about when he is doing the burnout that is simply the banking on the straight away pitching the rear of the car which is pretty common.
