zum Verständnis....wie wird der Trasnponder programmiert? müssen dafür Daten von dem Fahrzeug ausgelesen werden? oder werden diese aus einer Datenbank auf den Transponder geschrieben? mein PCF7930AS Transponder aus einem SL R129 ist defekt und habe nur den einen Schlüssel...

The remote you can program manually. And you can take a used one from an other car.

I have W203 C270CDI 2001. Because of an electricity leak in the Dashboard, it was changed with perhaps a second-hand one from another W203. The change was made in Mercedes dealership service. The problem is that after the change - the "new" dashboard doesn't show the mileage of the car.( Its in kilometers in Europe) The dashboard shows only ------. How can I make the dashboard showing my car's mileage ?

Hello. As I know the dealership do not change second-hand parts. I think it must be synchronized with the ignition switch. But I am not sure.
