Pretty ironic the WFT wore their throwback uniform that looked similar to Spurrier's old rivals Florida State.

This one was for Bellamy and the Beerman. They contributed to almost all of the Saints points

Saints were sitting at 9-4 after beating the Ravens and tanked the last 3 games. 🤦🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️😤

They were at least competitive in the month of December unlike 2001 when they lost their final 3 games of the season by at least 30+ points. The problem in 2002 was Aaron Brooks was clearly injured in the Ravens game and Jim Haslett lived and died by him. Jake Delhomme was a capable backup and Haslett ignored him and it cost them a playoff spot in the end.

Washington shouldve made white versions of these jerseys...they looked pretty cool...better than the throwbacks with the ugly dark gold numbers

Never wanted a coach to lose so bad in my life. Hey Steve there are no Vanderbilt's in The NFL

He came into the NFL year too late. There was a Vanderbilt in the NFC East- the Arizona Cardinals.

Idk what the Redskins saw in Patrick Ramsey.

Matthews probably deserved more time. I think he got scapegoated too much for that Eagles MNF game.

If Patrick Ramsey is your team’s starting QB, they are in *TROUBLE!* ...my goodness he was terrible passing the ball this game!

@Steve Kovaleski He was good in week 1, bad in week 2. But still, Matthews could not have fared any worse against New Orleans.

Patrick Ramsey is a BUST. Lucky us 49ers didn't draft Ramsey in 2002.

How did Michael go from beer to the NFL
@TheAlfrulz3 жыл бұрын
I believe he was bouncing around in semipro leagues hoping he can make the leap to the big show like countless others. He tried out and was cut by Philadelphia in 2000, and joined the Saints in 2001. I think the beer delivery job he took around that time was simply a way to pay the bills until he got his big break and made a teams roster. Loved the story at the time though, he's still with the Saints today as a team ambassador.
