I forgot that the Lakers-Wolves faced each other in the 2003 playoffs. I thought that, as of the end of the 2024 playoffs, that the only time in history that both teams faced each other in the playoffs was in the 2004 West Finals Wolves had homecourt in both series in 2003 and 2004, and both times lost in 6 games The battle for the "Lakers" team-nickname = Minneapolis Lakers vs Los Angeles Lakers

Pistons overcame a 3-1 deficit (given, they did have two home games in game 5 and and the deciding game 7) Portland almost became the first team in NBA history to overcome a 3-0 deficit. Portland was even up at one point in the 4th quarter in game 7

Orlando was up 3-1 and McGrady was dominating Detroit. Then the Pistons won the next 3 games to win the series in 7.

First year for TNT as a solo NBA broadcaster and their first year with their current theme music. Shame that after this year, they won't be broadcasting the NBA anymore.
