2003 Audi A4 3.0L Broken timing belt, part 1

This car broke the timing belt, sat up for six months. Finally bring it to the shop to be able to work on it. That's when hurricane Ida blew out the doors and busted up the driver's side of the car.
So now let's get this back on the road.

the hydrolic tensioner i had a issue just used my jack to suppress it down 😂

What type of socket did you use to take the crank locking plug out? Was it a 6 hex or t40?

It is a Torx. Don’t remember the size.

I was just thinking about it and now I’m thinking it’s a Allen key. Did i show it in the video?

Yes at 8 mins and 50 seconds. The pattern on the side of the socket looks like a hex

I just replaced mine last week. It was cracked all over the place. Replaced the belt with the waterpump kit. It included all pulleys and tensioners. Did the serpentine also. Mine had 130k. So it was time.
