2003 British GT Championship - Round 1 Donington Park

Change of tact now back to 4 wheels for some GT fun this is Round 1 of the 2003 British GT Championship at Donington. Going into the 2003 season they had been some massive changes to the series first of all the GT Cup class was introduced for less powerful and more nimble cars, the GTO class was annulled with those cars racing in the main championship but the GT cars would be handicapped by an extra pit stop. Also there was all female team aptly named "Girl Power" joining in the fun lets how it all works.

The series got worse... I think is what you were trying to say. Same happened to FIA GT. No more extreme cars and homologation specials and too many regulations. No more Saleen, no more Mosler, no more Ultima GTR, no more Stealth B6, not good.

@@fyfyi6053 yes , today everything is SRO GT3, and only limited tot he few OEM offers and that's it, the teams can't do any modifications , not to mention building their own cars
