This sounds almost identical to my Kooks LT, Kooks catted x-pipe, Stinger set-up. Loud when you want it to be, but not obnoxious otherwise. I had a Kooks off road X-pipe previously, but it was far too loud, even at lower RPM's.

I like BBK cause it has more of the smooth gargle noise and really opens up compared to Kooks with all the popping and raspy the exhaust turns into. It is a clean fit as long as you get BBK headers with their X pipe (or H). Once you start taking bbk headers with a different brand mid pipe is when you get into trouble

You will need earplugs after a while, it just gets too loud. I have a 2.3 whipple on my '03 Cobra, no cats, 4.10 gears, and many extras. Dynoed at 605.28 at the wheels.

Thanks, yea I mentioned somewhere near the beginning I have since replaced the cobra inserts with Stainless Steel, 315 tire, and 6000k HID lights. You're definitely right though, SS inserts look a whole lot better IMO

@@03SonicBlur I put stainless steel ones on mine and put the R a little crooked. Wasn't fun taking them off. Ended up putting chrome vinyls on since I had to destroy the steel ones getting them off....and I was careful doing so.

Thanks, its actually quiet loud in person, I just do not want to be popping and crackling, going catless will be way to raspy for my liking and putting up with inspections every year too

That's understandable especially with the inspections aspect, however from my experience a catted or O/R X in general is just gonna be raspy and poppy less with cats and more w/out obviously. An O/R H is not poppy or raspy whatsoever which is what I have now with my 44s, I've had an X before and it's just the design that creates the high pitched/ raspy sound.
