braddfordy so what is the best mustang, in your opinion? I own one as well, an 04 and I'll never sell it. A lot of people including cobra owners don't know the full history of how the terminator came to be. The book, Iron Fist, Lead Foot is a must read. The author is John Coletti. Head of the SVT program.

So how does 470 to the tires feel? Does it feel like enough or do u want more? The reason I ask is because I have 91 foxbody that I'm putting an engine into. It's a brand new 331 stroker and I bought a vortech. With the pulley that the blower comes with I should be around 450-470 to the tires. The bigger pulley would put me well over 500. It would be In a car that's a few 100 pounds lighter than the 03 cobra too.

Oh alright. Lol. What's TWO STEP? and is there a difference in sound quality between 3 inch tips and 4 inch tips
@ThunderThighs10 жыл бұрын
I believe that two step is the launch control. So whenever you have the clutch pressed in and gas at the same time, it wont let you rev over a specific rpm until u drop the clutch ( i think u can choose what rpm to launch at). So when u shift after 1st and second and gas it a little before letting go of the clutch, it will think u are trying to launch so it limits your rpm for a quick second.
@ThunderThighs10 жыл бұрын
And if you have mufflers then the diameter of your tips wont really change the tone of ur car. His car is straight piped so i believe the larger your pipes, the more exhaust flow you can get, hence a deeper tone. ( correct me if im wrong)
@Miggz03Svt10 жыл бұрын
Is your cat back also custom? What tips u running? Mufflers? What inch are your tips?
@ThunderThighs10 жыл бұрын
It's not my car but the guy said its a custom full exhaust. His tips are about 3in. No mufflers i believe. Its straight piped

Learn to shift bro! Nice car
@ThunderThighs9 жыл бұрын
shifting in this car is a lot different from normal stick shift cars. pressing the gas pedal the slightest while having the clutch down and shifting will activate the launch control, bringing the rpms down to 2k. thanks!

My Cobra does the exact same thing when i'm getting on it and shifting fast occasionally. i'm not sure if it has a two step but it has the same reaction kind of like hitting the fuel cut....How would i test for a two step anyways?
