2003 Dodge Dakota 4.7L V8 EVAP Canister and Hoses location

"Where is the EVAP canister located on my 2003 Dodge Dakota 4.7L V8?"
Great question, it's located under the truck bed behind the driver's seat, in front of the fuel tank.
Make sure to check all of your hoses in this area. Any cracks in them will cause a Check Engine Light(CEL) to come on. Any hoses replaced should be exactly the same type of hose(there are many different types). I replaced all of mine for under $10 with metal hose clamps to keep them in place. Be sure to inspect the plastic ends of the EVAP canister to make sure they are not cracked as well.
Don't smoke of have any open flames around since this is a fuel system component.
