Hey Doc, what fluid do these f250s like in their steering box?

Iirc I used Mercon V auto trans fluid. It's fairly common for steering boxes/power steering to use auto trans fluid.

There a plug under the hood to crank the motor without starting. Takes 2 seconds

Ah. That I'm not sure about. The leaf spring front suspension on my truck makes it a bit easier to access. I haven't looked at coil spring front end trucks to see how accessible it is or not
