OEM is superior to the junk you put in form Auto Zone. I may have missed it, why did you not drain the fluid? Valvoline synthetic 5 qt, Lucas trans leak 2 qt, TransX 1 qt. Step 1, drop pan and clean magnet and swap filter, Step 2 add replace with 8 qt, drive for 30 min. Step 3 drain again and add the above with OE filter. I would run the truck for 5k miles and do the above one more time with the transX and Lucas. One last biggie suggestion, service your rear diff! My was leaking and it ran low on gear oil, gears started making noise. I serviced + used Bars Leak (1) and Lucas Trans Leak (1/2), and AT205...leak stopped, gear noise gone. I added the APE aftermarket cover. I have checked my drain plug 2x, very dirty magnet... I assume for prior damage to the pinion bearing, with convince, the dirt magnet was from the damage prior to service.
