2003 Grand Caravan - Replace Cabin Air Filter - It was clogged

In August 2022, all of a sudden when I turned on my A/C in the van, the air flow was obviously blocked. Or, something was wrong. The air flow sounded really unusual and loud. I checked the cabin air filter and turns out that I hadn't replaced it in about four years. It was clogged. I replaced it and the system sounded normal again. This video shows what I did.

I appreciate the nice comment. Glad that it was useful. I've seen several news reports about the ULEZ zone expansion in London and the people pushing back against the Mayor's policy. What is your opinion? Seems like it might just be a way to raise tax money off of the backs of working and retired citizens.

I have the same 03 Caravan where you were able to slide off the plastic to access the filter on mine seems like a solid plastic mold no separation .. where the heck does my filter go. Thanks for video

That is crazy!! How could they build a car with no cabin filter? If I remember correctly, when I was doing this, I saw some article about some Caravans not having a cabin filter. Thanks for commenting. Hope that you have a blessed day.

I have the same one but, it doesn't have a filter. Is it necessary to put one on it?

Hello. If there is a slot to put a filter in, I would put one in. In my opinion, it is good to have it for protection. But, from comments I've read on the internet, some of the Caravans do not have a slot to put a filter in.
