I was there to see live coverage of pba world championship at taylor michigan it was awesome experience for me by the end of the show parker bohn took me upstairs got me autograph as well and for me it was alot of fun meeting parker bohn for 1st time in 2003 when i was young and getting tickets to see my 1st ever coverage of pbatour

Great story. Parker is one of a kind. In my first regional ever I was very nervous at the practice session and when I ran into Parker he was so genuine and gave me the time of day as a young college kid and it really made me feel comfortable. And I ended up beating him by one spot and getting a check. I’ll never forget that.

I think Parker won his 30th title in my hometown too. I don’t remember the exact number but for some reason that sounds right. Guess I’ll find out when I get that far with the uploads.

Brian Kretzer was so one dimensional Thats why he couldnt win on tour Was pretty good in the amateurs Dont ever copy that approach

I talked to Pete at several events when I was a PBA member. We briefly discussed creating an image to market ourselves. I brought up pro wrestling where they have good guys and bad. Bowling needed an anti-hero and he played the role well. Off the lanes when the fans are gone and the camera are off, Pete,and his wife, are charming and friendly.
