We bought our 2003 Rover 45 2.0 V6 Connoisseur in June 2020. It has been three years, and around 20,000 miles, since then, so it is high time that we have another little report on it.

I never object too much when video sponsors are actually relevant to the video content and when it’s not too “in your face”. From the sounds of it DMGRS are doing a valuable job in keeping cars like yours on the road. It also makes a change from every KZbin car video being sponsored by Car Vertical - they might be a valuable service too but you get tired of everyone promoting them.

I only will accept promotions like this if I would genuinely use a company's products in the course of normal motoring, and DMRGS is certainly a company who supply a lot of products for the 45 V6, some of which are unique. Not at the Car Vertical level of sponsorship yet....

Advertising has ruined KZbin. An ad at the end of a video is fine, but some channels load up their content with ads you can't skip every couple of minutes, making it unwatchable. And I'm getting pretty tired of being bombarded with infomercials about vertical cars and surfing sharks on almost every single car related channel. I sorely miss the days when KZbin was for hobbyists, rather than being a business model for people who are more interested in chasing add revenue than they are making good content.

Didnt Ian from Hubnut own that previously ? As i remember him driving the same car years ago on his channel ? very fast for a 2 litre the V6 helps a lot

It's not the same car. His was an earlier model. I have had this one for a great deal longer now than he ever had his one.

@@lloydvehicleconsulting Ah I thought 🤔 it was Ians because of the Hubnut sticker lol 😄 anyway I love the old Rovers , the 25 I have a soft spot for ax they are so fast and a good hot hatch , sadly Rover always had an old man's car image and I think 🤔 that contributed to the downfall of Rover , They did try with the MG versions to attract the youth but failed

It's all covered extensively on the channel. I have lost count of how many post-1990 MGs and Rovers I have filmed, it could be as many as 40, I don't know.
