As someone mentioned the 2003 model was the last of the FZS600, at which point they started calling it the FZ6 in 2004 onward and later the FZ6S became available.

Oh yes, I do see now, I will change the title.

@@motor_mastery Japan and its naming is worse than Nvidia and AMD 😆

The last ones were produced around march 2004! Mine is from February 2004, so it's a 2004 FZS 600.

@@Meemzeh Likely registered in 2004 but produced off the 2003 line.

I really like the video! Nice explaining. Please do more content on this model. Brakes? Changing air filter?

Thank you. sure, I'll gladly do more content on this bike.

Nice vid, good easy to follow. One point, the engine has the oil capacity below the dipstick.
@steevieweevie Жыл бұрын
It's good to do it at full temp and after a good run. Reason being it dissolves/mixes up all the sediment into the oil and will then come out when you drain it. If not, a lot of the settled sediment will remain

This video should be named: How not to...
@AlphaDango10 ай бұрын
At 11:40 you can see a little mark left of the window. No that's not dirt. Your oil should be at that level.

Nice one. I prefer the older model look rather than the new type like the one in the Vid.
@adamflynn7322 Жыл бұрын
Yeah you've a fox eye version only difference is the front fairing really. I do like the older style of the 98-99 models though. The engines are reliable on all fzs though 👍

Should be semi synthetic oil
@motor_mastery Жыл бұрын
Why semi. Does it matter if it's mineral, semi syth, or fully syth?
@GaijinGamerGirl11 ай бұрын
I believe older models that are carb'd will prefer semi-synthetic as they like to have "some" mineral involved. @@motor_mastery Typically if you're getting Castrol or Motul like the racing 10W40 it's all fine anyway

Did it never occur to you to clean the bike for the sake of the video if not the bike
@motor_masteryАй бұрын
Aye yes, looking back I was a bit of a bellend for not cleaning it. Can't remember why I didn't, it was so long ago.

Ok so everybody do NOT balance your bike up on a piece of wood like that, you will forget when applying force to bolts and boom bikes over 😮
@motor_mastery Жыл бұрын
I would have used the center stand on the bike, but it was banjaxed.
@wattysautos5442 Жыл бұрын
Centrestand banjoed - no shortcuts lol fix the stand 1st or at a minimum do the change with the bike on its sidestand instead 👀
@motor_mastery Жыл бұрын
Yeah, you're dead right. should've fixed the center stand first or maybe use a paddock stand. Not the right right protocol. I was extra careful but I won't do it again. It's not worth the chance of the bike falling 😅
