2004-2007 F-250 & F350 6.0L ARP Head Stud Kit Install

The stock head studs on your 2004 to 2007 Super Duty's 6.0L Powerstroke are notoriously weak and prone to failure, therefore a premium replacement should be on the top of your list of upgrades. I hope no one watches this video when they install studs.. read the directions .. hand tight, then torque the studs down before tightening the rocker carrier bolts. and follow the torque sequence.

I’ve never torqued a head stud with just a ratchet 😂

Use 6.4L push rods if head is decked ( milled). Make sure all studs are same hieght ( torque reading may be a little off.)

It took me about 18 days, 4-8 hrs a day, slow, and steady. But I'm done and my trucks runs great. Thanks to the KZbin community, I did it, with the cab on, in my drive way.

I started with 50 ft/lbs, then 100, then 150, and final 210.

"Thread lock" , ARP lube, whatever....

Anyone rebuilding their heads... tighten by hand only... then torque in a pattern after installing your rockers...
