Great tutorial, thanks! Replaced the alternator without pulling the power steering pump. I did remove the washer fluid tank mouth (funnel looking part) for a bit more clearance.

Nice work. That HF slim ratchet really helped! FYI, 2 easy 12mm fasteners hold the PS pump; you can just move it a little and get the alternator out. Also, a semi deep 12mm socket will easily get to those lower bolts... I just did this job a couple of days ago; I did not have my semi deeps with me but a tiny 1/4 flex ratchet and deep got 'er done. A few Band Aids were in order. Again, great job! Those 1st gen TSX are amazing cars. They were the European and Japanese Accord.

Would I be able to get to the bottom bolts with a wrench? Just like a normal one because I don’t have a flex ratchet or would I be able to fit a normal ratchet in there ?

Is very well possible to remove with your standard wrench. I would maybe couple two wrenches together if need be to gain more leverage. A long flex head ratcheting wrench makes much easier and quicker to work with.

If they r goin to keep that car for a few more years, they should have gotten a OEM alternator. Honda alternators last a lonnnnnnngggg time. Cost more but worth it.

Yea I agree. I always recommend oem but most folks would rather take that gamble the cheap part. Keeps me busy at least, I suppose 🙇🏾‍♂️
