Sweeping the weekend and winning from- where else- the pole: this was the apex of Front Row Joe's career.

It's weird how you see John Hunter Nemechek as a little kid and now he is a really good driver for his dad's team

Just made it into the Round of 6 this year thanks to the massive last lap accident this past Saturday at Talladega in which he gained crucial points to knock out Chase Briscoe.

One of the best races I have ever been to. Gordon had that awesome Wizard of OZ paint scheme and it was a cloudy , windy, cool day....soooo cool! I went with my brother and my aunt and uncle.

Richard Childress at Lap 152 saying rain is 35-40 minutes away, well guess what he was wrong. Race went the entire 267-lap distance, in fact all the exhibition events and points events in all 3 touring series in 2004 went their advertised distances or into overtime. Then in 2010 the same thing happened, and if remaining 5 Cup events, 4 Xfinity events, and 4 Truck events go the distance then 2017 would be the third season in the last 14 to not have a truncated event. In Cup we have two 400-mile/267 lap races, a 500-kilometer/312-lap race, a 500-lap race, and one final 500-mile/334-lap race. In Xfinity we have three 300mile/200-lap events, and one 200-mile event. In Trucks, a 200-lap event, a 350-kilometer/220-mile event, a 150-mile race, and finally one 200-mile/134-lap event. In 2004, the closest we came to a truncated event was the Truck event at New Hampshire where a caution came out with 2 laps to go, and due to darkness they ended the race at the advertised distance of 200 laps when they were going to have a GWC-finish, and I thought they went 199, but I lost count and reviewed the footage and it indeed went 200. I just wish that race (2004 Sylvania 200) would be uploaded by anyone in its entirety. The 2003 and 2005 events are uploaded, but not the 2004 event.

Could someone please tell me what the fuck happened to Sterling Marlin in this race. This is one of the questions I never figured out because he was last back when I watched this race from the start.
@mattkowal906 жыл бұрын
He had a vibration during the final pace lap, and he shifted probably too quickly and ripped the teeth off the gears. Most likely he suffered a loose gear in the transmission and rear end.

Still can't believe that Earnhardt got deducted 25 points. Any penalty for this "obscenity" would be too much. This must be one of the most laughable rules ever enforced by NASCAR.

Nascar 06 total team control challenge Joe Nemechek 01 U.S Army Chevrolet Kansas City Star 2:34:17 In the race he had the 2004 verison of the Army Chevy and started on the pole for the event with Ricky Rudds air force Ford Taurus right behind him and Nemechek held off the U.S Airforce Ford for Joe's last career cup victory ever in his cup career. In the challenge he was in the 2005 verison of the Army Car with Rudd in the Motorcraft Ford Taurus as the players job is to navigate the Army car and hold off Rudd like Nemechek did.

As those two races he filled in for Allen Bestwick resulted in Weber being the lap by lap announcer for the next three and a half seasons for Turner Sports TV Coverage until being let go in June 2009 after a hotel room dispute as he’s an illusionist down in St. Petersburg Florida as of ten-fifteen years ago
