2003 was truly a end of an era. Labonte brothers last wins, Bill Elliott’s last win, Ricky Cravens last win, and Matt Kenseth being the last true NASCAR champion.

Always liked Rockingham. Just another win that got away from Rusty due to poor pit strategy.

This should have been Kasey Kahnes first win. That whole caution flag fiasco, after he already made his pit stop (on green) really screwed him over. Also, I believe he was just too timid on the last 8 laps or so. He should have just got under Sadler on that low line and just nudge him if he wouldn't let him pass. It was blatantly obvious that Kahne had the fastest car on the track pretty much all day...

i was at this race on the back straight seats when Gordon won and came by the back straight seat the sky turned dark like the movie 300 when they pelted him with bottles it was crazy people were fighting after the race and somehow a girl from 2 rows up with a Newman shirt on laid her huge pretty titties all over my shoulders her drunk husband came tumbling down the bleachers what a awesome time i had

1:06:04 If it weren’t for the issue that caused THIS unscheduled pit stop, Newman might have finished in the top 5 or even won, given that he was running up front beforehand and the #12 car was one of the best cars on the track…which would have made him a genuine title threat (especially if the DNF at Darlington 2 races later didn’t also happen)…
@calvinstraveldreams21 күн бұрын
Actually in the 2004 Chase Newman could have been a SERIOUS title threat, given that he was the driver who led THE MOST laps during that 10-race stretch, but bad luck at New Hampshire, Kansas, Charlotte, Atlanta, Darlington, and Homestead-Miami derailed his 2004 title bid (as did his main Achilles heels (impound races, races where he was dropped to the rear of the field, and having to drive backup cars) a year later)…
