2004 Craftsman GT5000 V-Belts Removal & Replacement (Part 1) THE MOWER REMOVAL

The objective of this video is to show the steps I went through for the removal of the mower from a 2004 Craftsman Garden Tractor. This is not meant to be a how-to video of any sort but rather a reference only of the steps I took to get this mower out from under this tractor.
While this video can be used as a guide for this kind of work, it is essential that you follow the specific owners repair manual for your tractor only.
And as always, as long as safety is practiced, and one has the required tools and the basic building block approach for a job, it is possible to complete any job successfully.

Thanks for making this video. I have a HusV that's same model and having an issue where the mower is same height 3" no matter how far the knob is turned...the knob screw is not stripped out...so I'm investigating what could be causing this none adjustment. I suspected doubled nutted somewhere by previous elder owner. I also want to rebuild the loose steering items to tighten steering up. Any good place to buy parts for these still>>?

was it really necessary to loosen those front frame bolts. It seems that the front swing guide clips should have just popped out.
