2004 Crossfire AMSOIL Engine Flush Oil Change

Back with Shawns second car his beautiful 2004 Chrysler Crossfire.
This is the second vehicle of his we are doing an AMSOIL engine flush and oil change on this one is a little bit different than his other one because this one is a European motor which we had the option of using either the AMSOIL signature series 0W-40 or we could use the AMSOIL European 5W-40 motor oil which we went with.

Epic bottle slap! I didn't know that the Crossfire used European Spec oil. The Crossfire is the last love child of the Chrysler and Mercedes union. 2004 with less than 15,000 miles, wow! It is a sharp car. Great video Eben! Your buddy is a cool dude, and funny.

Yeah you can use both the 0w 40 signature or you could use the European 5w 40

Did my Kubota zg227 engine oil and filter change yesterday. I put 10w40 commercial grade Synthetic for small engines. I also coated all the plastic with the Mudslinger and wiped the hood and deck with the miracle wash. It’s 6 years old and looks almost like new!

Just a tip to fill it easier on a Crossfire. It is much easier to fill the oil from the oil filter orifice, so if you save the install of the oil filter to last and just use that hole to pour the new oil in you won't have to use a funnel and mess with the small oil fill hole.

@@Syntheticoilprotection I got into Crossfires a little over a year ago and got hooked. Have had 8 of them so far - 3 SRT-6 models and 5 Limited models. We currently own 2 of them - a 2005 Roadster and a 2006 Coupe. Love 'em both! I just received my Amsoil coolant and booster a couple of days ago and flushed the cooling system in the coupe last night and then filled it with the Amsoil coolant.

@@Syntheticoilprotection Running great. I'm doing lots of other preventive maintenance to it as well. Both of our Crossfires run great. We live in the Phoenix area and recently returned from a trip to Eureka Springs, AR for the Crossfires in the Ozarks event. About 40 Crossfires there for 5 days. Was a blast and the car ran great for the whole trip.

Depends on which vehicle they're for. The EAO 99 for my 7.3 powerstroke is always stamped made in USA, and I think the EAO15K 13 for my Nissan XTerra is made in Mexico.

I think some of us would like to see a video on changing transmission fluid on a vehicle with "Lifetime Transmission" - where there is no drain plug.
