You should mention that most floor ramps are too high for the crossfire to get up onto, and if jacked up from the passenger side, close to 1.5 quarts of old oil will be left in the pan. After the oil change when you check dip stick levels (if you put in 8 qts like you mentioned) you have the condition of having too much oil in the engine. Jacking from the drivers side mitigates this and provides for full pan draining without overfilling.
