Thank you for this video as it was really helpful indeed 😉 I went ahead and tore down the side casing to my sv650 03 to respray it and also change the water pump seal however when I came to resemble the casing and water pump together on the reverse ie internally I popped the gear back on its shaft along with its centre pin but I couldn't remember the order of the metal washer and x2 C retaining clips as there is two! One large silver color one and one smaller black one 🤯 This video clearly showed the correct order and so thanks again for sharing the knowledge as its much appreciated indeed 🙏

Thank you . My DL650 2014 leaking a little coolant from the small drain tube while running . This video is great to let me know I do not need the special tool to remove the mechanical seal .

If anyone has trouble getting off those two screws on the water pump, trying spraying them with PB Blaster (try not to use WD-40 unless you have no choice; It doesn't work as good as PB Blaster) and then use an impact screwdriver. An impact screwdriver is a screwdriver that you can hit with a hammer that twists has you hammer on it. They're pretty cheap to buy and really useful for stubborn screws. You also might need a heavy hammer that has some weight behind it. Before you use an impact screwdriver, push it on the ground to see what way the screwdriver is twisting. You may need to adjust it so it's turning counterclockwise to loosen the screw.
