I had to replace the trunk struts for my Nissan 370Z. So I decided to actually add struts to the front hood that uses the factory hood prop. Nice video JR

Thanks. Be careful adding struts to a car not meant for them. I tried to with my G35 and it made the hood rub on the fenders when opening.

@@JRsGarage I know exactly what you mean. The clearance became an issue because of the plastic dust covers from the battery and brake booster areas. I had to remove them to sit flush. Those ball joints can be raised away with additional nuts. Thanks for the tip. I don't get tired among those of us with this mechanical lingo.
