I took my car to Carmax to get appraised and they offered me 10,400 because the paint needed a “respray” according to them due to several panels having scratches and fine scuffs. I stumbled upon your videos while trying to find a way to remove those blemishes without respraying. I ordered some solvent paint got some pads off amazon and went at it. I’m not going to lie and say everything came back like factory but you really had to look closely to notice the previous damage. I was able to get a higher appraisal and sold my 2017 pathfinder to them for $12,000. You helped me make an extra 1600 dollars! Any way I can buy you a beer?

BTW if you want to make a no cut video, you should avoid transition effects too, as after you apply the paint you did transitions; which may push someone to assume you did something in between the transitions. Just saying as you want to make a point to not have cuts, which means you should have no cuts from the moment you smear that paint on the damage to the end results.

Amazing job! Just two questions: How long did you let the paint dry? And, Wouldn't be good to apply some clear coat on top?
@cvrpov7 ай бұрын
About 3 mins. Mix maybe 10% clear in if you are adding some

Thank you so much for this video, I had recent damage to my 2014 Porsche Cayenne GTS by some stranger in a parking lot, I was dreading having to repaint the bumper, but now 100% going to try this.

In your area, what would you suggest is a decent price to ask for this job? Which is a bloody good job mind you! Liked the vid, and have already been a subscriber for ages. 👍

Price accordingly to how much time you have spent, how much the method results worked and also the saving you've made the client compared to respray.

So many people (including myself) want to know how long you let the paint dry for before polishing, but you're not answering...

In an older video showing the same process, he says to let the paint dry for 2 minutes.

Thanks for sharing your tips and all you do. I tried this myself once a few years back off another KZbin video and the guy did not explain it as well as you did at all, and it did not come out great suffice to say. After seeing your video I’m going to have another go at some point in the coming weeks on my older car first then my newer one if I’m successful with it. Also re- Haters, Haters are always going to hate they never innovate! 😄👍🏽

Thank you! You are amazing! The judgements of other people is their problem! Some people only judge other people, and from that point they can't create! And you are the creater here! I will test it on new BMW x1 (occasion, so had some little scratches)... So keep you posted!
