Welcome to another #TestdriveThursday. In today's video we will be reviewing the 2004 BMW E46 330i Individual Sedan. A very unique BMW in it's own way.

* De-cat with Resonator delete.
* Basic map
* Powerflex Poly RTAB bushes
*Racediffs 25% diff lock mod

Great video man...The E46 330i It’s a guaranteed future classic in the sense that BMW give this car such attention to detail and careful factory modification and this turned out to be cash cow for BMW and still maintain the position as the best ever and most sort after, it ages so well, very reliable and dynamic ride it's still sort after..if not mistaken this was one of Chris Bangle designs and SA factory exported the right hand drive.. Maintenance headache free, I try do much DIY there are lots of youtubers on how to and diagnosis, I source the parts from the renowned automotive parts like Meyle/Mahle/GUD/Siemens etc...

Hi Nhlanhla, thank you for your feedback. The E46 was not designed by Chris Bangle, but rather by Erik Goplen. A lot of controversy in regards to the Bangle designs - however I love his designs. Meyle HD products definitely tops!

@@zarracelife5211 Nice specimen you got brother! But apart from the individual series,it has nothing special. I don't see HID headlights,alcantara seats, navigation,HK stereo,etc. Not even heated seats or rear power sunshade. Basic E46 i would say.

Estoril blue 😍 for years I had an album on my phone with pictures of this colour combo 🙈 I finally bought my 330i saloon with 69k on the clock very cheap, it's not estoril blue but I wouldn't change it! When you say you didn't get the zhp in SA, is that not the equivalent? In the UK we have the m sport which I've seen referred to interchangeably with zhp.

only us model is zhp. this has all the aesthetic of zhp but not upgraded cams, exhuast or engine tune giving it 10 plus hp, i have an imola red 2006 bmw 330ci vert 6 speed zhp check it on my channel

Hi Hobby Guy, thank you for the support. The blue on black is definitely a stunning combo! ZHP package was only available in the US. Had upgraded cams, exhaust and a higher rev limiter. Most of them also came with the style 135 wheels.

was your 330i expensive to maintain and repair? thats my only worry if i were to buy one

@@asacooper3494 I did preventative maintenance, so when the radiator tank burst, I replaced all the cooling system parts because here in Africa that is the things that goes first on BMW's. I had 4 BMW's before the 330i and all of them had cooling issues. If you buy one make sure to do the vanos with the upgraded seals, you'll be running next to the GTi's after that. I had to repair my automatic gearbox for 38000 rand, so don't get an automatic, the cooling system parts cost me 11000 rand including a new radiator and the rest I would consider it wear and tear.

That harman cardon kit is nothing without the radio upgrade, i bought the e46 specific large navigator with ALOT better audio amplifier, you should change yours too.. Thank me later ;)

are you from Canada or uk? i have a zhp and mine has red needles and 6800 redline. yours is white no 6800 redline. u have basic engine no better cams and engine tune like us model 767 performance package. everything else is there tho. great car still mate!

Hey bud, this car is part of the SA market individual package. They are ZHP look alikes but they do not have the mechanical modifications. We have a 6500 redline on our cars.

If it's possible, go test drive an E30 325 convertible and then the 330i. If it was up to me, 330i all the way!! 👆

I have both of those cars. Both amazing cars but very different. You should drive both before you make your decision but if its your daily/only car, I would definitely recommend the e46
