yessir, the removal and reinstallation procedure is the same. however the cv axles are not the same for the different 4wd systems, selectTrac, QuadraDrive, Quadratrac.

I've been an auto mechanic for many, many years, good job! I just needed to know if the hub bolts were inverted torx? Mainly because one of my inverted torx sockets is broken from a hub bearing bolt! For I have walked away from all the electronic bs after 39 years! I started on points , carburetors ,u joints, ball joints and all the real mechanical parts to a vehicle.

Can you take the bearing and shaft out at the same time, I have a cross threaded spindle nut and it want come off without cutting it.

Is the axle shafts not clipped in like the rear axle shafts? When I did my rear axle shafts I had to take my dif cover off to take off the clamps.

My Jeep is 04 quadra-trac2 but they don't show it at Auto store they offer select Trac and a different 1 what did u choose select Trac?
