I was the one who sent you the cord. I’m glad it arrived and you were able to get use out of it. I had attempted to clean it as it sat in storage for months, but I figured if you decided it needed a clean you’d do so. Glad I was able to help you!

Kudos to Gilbert for donating a color correct cord, those are getting harder and harder to find these days. All they sell is the black cord (which is color accurate to the G4 and G6) because it's cheaper to manufacture these days.

@@graysonsvacsandmowers5426 yup, fewer parts stock if everything is just one color.

When I was little, my family purchased a Kirby diamond edition. In July, 2004.my interested they gave us like a demo of it play Kyle the Machine Works how do you take care of it and I remember telling my parents that they were interested to purchase and they told me that the Kirby was for me and in my little brother because I remember telling my mom that I don't need the Kirby Diamond Edition my parents will keep it in the garage sitting I remember taking it with us on moving day when my parents sold the house even my parents moved into an apartment they put the Kirby vacuum in the storage the Kirby was so dirty and nasty the cord was dirty the vacuum has been in storage for years I don't remember how where has it been all these years and stuff but as for today my parents and I are still Kirby customers even if Kirby tries to contact us if they want us to purchase another machine

Hey there Mr and Mrs VacLab, I've always loved your videos, I managed to find my own curbfind vacuum, eureka powerspeed turbo! It actually works as the person who owned it didn't cut the cord (thank God) apparently they threw it out because it was so badly clogged, it runs, it's a bit loud but not exactly a screamer, I am so happy however

the fastener variety on a Kirby probably looks good compared to a Briggs and Stratton engine where changing out the pull start could be three sizes of fasteners often equaling 7-10 fasteners total. This is one of the reasons my small engine equipment is mostly Honda and Honda clones. That and the reliability of said machines.

Hi! I have a Bissell turboclean powerbrush pet, and the tank is FILTHY! I have tried almost everything, but there are so many nooks and crannies I can’t get to. Plus, the tank can’t be disassembled. Do you have any tips?
