I purchased a 2003 Chevy road trek 190 Popular 6 months ago I was told everything Worked as it should, Well that was a lie!! I was going to dewinterize it today.. I went to pull Out the dumb hose, And it all came down I don't even Know how it Stayed up! I'm not even sure what should be holding it up there? Even the long cable that opens and close the valve came down There is no holes on the bracket so I don't know what Should Hold it, if it was welded or what? It was really hard to see in your video. So I thought maybe you could answer a couple questions for me..I seen a Spring at the end of the Large storage pipe, The one on mine is broke is that's Supposed to hold the pipe up? Or am I missing a Bracket.. Thank you

The small 1” cap at the end of the drain hose should pop into a corresponding hole in the hinged metal plate to hold the whole thing up off the ground.

Hey John, thanks for the video, about to do some dump valve replacement as well as the hose, too. I see you got the FlotTool Rhino ramps? I have a '95 Chevy RT 190Versatile, about to buy the 12k lb rated ramps, should be sufficient, right? Cheers!

You'll find out!;-) Mine are rated 3000lb each / 6000lb a pair / 12,000 lbs gross vehicle weight and seemed totally solid and non flexing, although I suspect if something like that failed it would be sudden. I did another repair underneath last week and I actually put axle stands under as an extra precaution.

@@JohnvanGurp Yeah so it would be painless, haha. My van's GVW is listed at 8,600lbs, so I think it's fine.

Hi John. How was the first dump? was it successful and no leaks? I have one to repair and was curious how yours went.
