2004 Suzuki Eiger 400 4X4 ATV

I have a 2003 Eiger identical to this one but full automatic (No Foot shift). I bought it 2 years ago with a winch and Moose Plow for $2,050. And it around 1,150 miles at that time and it looked like new! What a steal I got. I was looking at new stuff and with a plow and winch it would have cost me north of $10K. I totally lucked out finding my Eiger. It's so nice and clean that I refuse to use it on the trails in the summertime!

I have a 2003 which I bought in 2005 for around $4200. It has never failed me and has carried tons of groceries and many other things up/down the 4WD road to my house in winter. Regular oil changes, brake pads, occasional battery is about all it has needed. Performed even better than I expected. Even though I now have a Polaris Ranger 800 I find myself using the Eiger just for the fun of it.

That is a super clean Eiger for a 2004. Great buy! I have the same year only green. I would have bought that in a heartbeat.

Clean machine you got. I have the 05 Suzuki Eiger 400 4x4 with the automatic same color as yours. Bought mine used in Dec 2013, it has little over 1300 miles now. They are good machines I believe.

Looks great ! Check the valves ,they sound pretty loose. Mine is pretty quiet and they were just done. Just trying to help you out .

I got the same quad when coldstarting I leave choke on for 5 minutes in the winter to let it warm up. In the summer I leave choked for 1-2 sometimes don’t even need it

just make sure you change out the flywheel they should have recalled them the magnets were glued on they come loose and have hard start issues youtube it there easy to change out to the upgraded one

I got the same one and i learned on it after 3 years driving it, last spring i got a new one and its the same 2018 King quad 400 4 by 4. For me more quad than i need and reliable also

Hey when u turn your kill switch off and on does your oil light turn off. Of does it stay on till you start it

I wish I could get my eiger running it has a after market wench light bars front and rear new driveshaft for the rear about 500 dollars worth the work and I can't get spark to the spark plug if someone could help im desperate at this point its been 2 months

Do you have a winch? Is it hooked up to work only when ignition is on? Otherwise, could be frayed/rusted wire somewhere draining current.

Get rid of that stock petcock... it will cause you problems

Yep, the stock petcock will eventually leak. Simpler replacement petcock worth the small investment. Easy to put on.
