@@luhdawger thank you! 😊 It’s just a super affordable AWD option that I’ve seen multiple 300k plus miles on… 💯

Nice find. I have an 05 with 176K on it, (Montana) bought it from the original owner. Mine is the base model, 3.3l AWD, 3rd row seats with the tow package. It's in super clean condition also, no rust, was garaged most of it's life. There are no TPMS sensors in the wheels. These models have wheel speed sensors on the hubs. You might pull the wheels and see if the wires are attached and sensors are there. I just put a new windshield in mine cost $325, had the original in it, had lots of pitting and 5 rock chips in it. I have owned mine for 5 years. You can also reset the low tire pressure sensor on it, there is a button under the dash on the left side. Putting the new tires on it may be what triggered the warning light. There are videos here on YT that will show you how to reset it, it's really easy. I would start there first. I just love mine and it does fantastic on icy roads and snow, with snow tires on it, if you get those conditions where you live. Hope you enjoy your Highlander for many years. I know a lady where I live and she had an 05, with 376k on it! Still ran great, these are known to push 400k with proper maintenance. Good to hear your up on the maintenance, your totally right about that. We have got 24 mpg during the summer on highway trips. I am also meticulous with maintenance, used to be a Chevy guy, but only own Toyota's now. Check out the Car Care Nut channel, he's a dedicated master Toyota mechanic, lot's of knowledge there. 👍

@@DJ-kh8if thank you so much for the comment and feedback! Really my family for years have been telling me to do something with my experiences with vehicles and such… I’m kind of the guy for my nephew and nieces, gone with my sister and brother and friends as well… I’m not a certified mechanic but am pretty open to most diy things… so I’ve been doing some videos on cars and lots on fishing and came up with my name simply because that’s what I do mostly lol 😂 seriously appreciate you taking the time for that awesome comment! You’re awesome and from the sounds of it have an awesome rig as well! 💯 the smoothness of my highlander and the power delivery are so so incredible! Blows me away it’s 20 years old! But I’m sure you know that as well! 😊

@@FishingAndCars Yes for sure, evertime I get in it I can't believe it's 20 years old. That's why I stick with Toyotas now. I've owned lots of GM cars and trucks and always had to work on them fixing something. I'm like you a dyi guy. You Tube helps a lot when needing to fix things 😁. I think that's great what your doing, keep it up and your videos are great too. Hopefully you'll start getting more attention. Let me know if that tire reset work. 👍

@@DJ-kh8if I appreciate the kind words lots! Thank you! 😊… I have reset it and it comes right back… I’ll look into the hub sensors more! I had a 2000 Toyota Sienna that I sold to my brother for his family and the back wheel sensors fell off so i used a gorilla epoxy to glue them back on and the tire light went away… it worked and is still working a year later! lol… I did that as replacement was expensive and I read success stories on forums. I’m also wondering if I can delete the tire light like you can on a 2004 4Runner. Under the glove box if you splice two wires together it permanently disables tire light… I may look into that as well
