Nope. All the body panels fit the same. The only difference between V6 and V8 rear bumpers is the tail pipe cutout.

No need to unplug the side marker lights. They are on the same harness you unplugged from the trunk.

Title should be Rear Bumper Cover Removal. The bumper is under the bumper cover.
