Great video! I just finished fishing a dead mouse out of my vents and this was exactly what I needed. Removed the heater core to get access. The only thing I would say is that I used a short diablo sawsall blade instead of a cutting wheel. It cut through all 3 points in literally under a minute. Thanks for the excellent idea and instructions!

Omg thank you for this, i just bought a 05, and it blew a waterpump. After it was replaced, i couldnt get it to defog the interior and saw you had to rip out the whole dash to fix it and started to panic.

I think you have the best detailed video on this! I shared it on my jeep wk group on Facebook❤ Thanks so much! I did mine with my dad's help today. Only things we did differently was where we cut the plastic in the radio area(just in a way that made it a little more secure potentially when putting it back, and the metal cuts we did in only 2 key spots near the core) also, my dad welded it back together and we put up some scrap carpet around the seats to prevent burn marks from sparks and I watched through the tinted windows in case of any fire or crazy welding sparks. Another pointer, I had the shop vac sucking from the rad cap while my dad disconnected the core pipes in the footwell with a pan underneath to minimize the spillage(after doing a main radiator drain, of course) That was like a half gallonish that went into the wet vac, but definitely worth trashing vs the potential mess. Again, this was so helpful. There's a few videos out there for this, but nobody helps you find those screws like you did lol
