2005 - 2013 Toyota Yaris Passenger AIRBAG Light ON OFF & Seatbelt demonstration. READ DESCRIPTION.

The second generation Yaris was made as a sedan and hatchback from 2005 to 2013. Year and type might make a difference on the lights installed. This one is a 2010 sedan model. On start up the center cluster marked passenger should illuminate the lights for AIRBAG, ON, OFF and SEATBELT to make sure they're working.
With the passenger seat not occupied with any weight, normal operation is to show the AIRBAG light constantly. With a passenger or cargo over 80 pounds, the ON light will illuminate with the airbag light. Weight over the minimum threshold, I'm not sure that amount, but less than 80 pounds will trigger the OFF light.
