You should always replace the oil fill cap while working on a cobalt

this was hard to watch and didnt prove anything, he would have to have filled the tank and then try and start it , before and after changing the part.

It still haunts me to this day. It is too big of a pain to replace and the sound goes away in 5 seconds so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I just live with it.

Turn the car off completely, no need to disconnect the battery or anything like that. All you need to do is follow the steps in the video (if your vehicle matches mine.) No other switches or power disconnects like that.

Car will start and run but it had lost power rpm? This is the only code that pulled up. Will part affect the rpm power when driving

Could this cause the led display to alert power steering? I experience an inconsistent rough idle that occurs randomly, after driving at low speed. The led display alerts about power steering, suddenly performance goes crazy and it acts like it wants to quit. They can't find anything in the computer. Gas cap shows up in the computer once in awhile

there was a powersteering recall on the chevy cobalt, take it to any chevy dealership and they will replace the steering motor, and some other things at no cost.

@@saulmartinez4023 they replaced it when the recall happened. I swear they just replaced it with the same faulty part. I asked them numerous times if they made a potential mistake by putting in the wrong part and they kept telling me it's impossible. Now, I'm a computer guy and I run a business with catalogue databases, and I can tell you I know for a fact it's possible lol

p0455, if you still need it. Google has a decent list to check when you serch it. Im trying to find a way to disconnect the canister lines without damaging them.
