I had to replace one on a 2006 Chevy cobalt 102000 miles. I did it the exact same way that horseshoe clip Is very tricky. If it doesn't hold I know you can use a zip tie and that seems to help I've got a few of these. Great video thanks for sharing I know I did it correctly.

This purge valve was probably fine, it just wasn't plugged in on the rear. You can clearly see the the clip isn't on far enough... dust on the latch as its been off awhile. Thanks as I just replaced mine that tested bad by still sucking when unplugged IE stuck open.

I have a very noisy evap purge solenoid. If i disconnect the plug it stops. If i disconnect the canister side hose the noise stops. Do you know Why this is?
