Not really sounds like a bad ignition switch like a broken switch pin but hard to tell without taking thing apart, good luck.

I did the jumper cable thing you mentioned and it did not crank. Could it be the starter?

If you did everything good then I would go under and check the thin wire on the starter make sure is not loos or disconnect it, if that's ok the remove starter apply power directly if it doesn't run then you need a new one.

I still have the same problem sometimes it starts sometimes not. Did you figure it out ? I think the ground wire and connectors on the starter needs cleaning.

Hello I have a 05 300c and I'm having start stalling issues, the car shuts off with check engine light pull up coses for camshaft sensor, crankshaft, and air intake I have replaced all multiple times ut I'll run for 1 day or 2 while driving seems it does not want to accurate at top speed and sometimes it does a hipcup then that's when check engine like comes on. Feel pump has been replaced, and filters, started has been check it good and tranmission good...do you know what can cse the car to keep reflecting the sensors are bad?

@@ClassySassy506 To many variables for me to diagnose,if it was me I would pull the check engine code they don’t lie if it says is the crank positioning sensor and you already replace it my guess is you got an aftermarket market sensor from a local autoparts store then I would get an OEM Mopar sensor and if that fixes the problem I would return the defective one to the parts store and get my money back , I had some defective parts from after market before but also had many good parts aftermarket it’s a hit and miss I guess.

Never use any other metal to jump ,use copper cable.

The paper clip works but if takes long it will get hot and burn you ,depending how fast it turns on.
