While Chrysler let the 300 languish for far too long, starting in M/Y 2005, it literally was talk of the town for a while. It was almost like they did the impossible: Styling that suggested a far more pricier vehicle, very high performance for the dollar, and affordability into one package. The cherry on top was RWD vs FWD that most large sedans had at the time. I still see this vintage 300 SRT8 and it still turns my head. The lowered stance with tasteful bodywork remains classy.

The pontiac was surprisingly well built and really comfortable and with the same 3.5L v6 in both cars, the Pontiac was just better to drive overall.
