My grandma had a 2003 Fiesta 1.25 16v... Not so powerful on paper, but with a stunning power to weight ratio of 50kW/T. With a N/A engine an manual gearbox, on twisty roads my dad and I always smiled like fools. Never tried the ST though.

Nostalgic....when a 2 liter N/A 150 CV and a narrow road were the only things you needed to smile like a fool listening the exhaust....good test Joe, thanks a lot for these cars. If someday you can borrow a Golf MK3 VR6, I owned one and for me is one of the best I've ever had.....

I have loved this car ever since was 14 years old, just after I turned 21 having got my license endless searching happened wanting to buy one I couldn't find any in a good condition, gearbox issues and mechanical issues, I ended up going with the Ford Figo, which is just about identical to this generation of Ford Fiesta, but in all honesty I still want this Fiesta guys, sad enough not many made it to South Africa, guys in the UK are super lucky

My dad has the same gen Fiesta but it’s the 1.4, the exhaust is leaking so it sounds so agressive that it actually pops. Amazing little cars these Fiestas.

I just buy 1.4 Fiesta from 2004 and for me this car is amazing. Traction and Power this car have completly. I just thinking 2.0 150HP is like a torpedo, but for responsive drive 1.4 have enough Power.

Ahhh, just got this recommended. Drive the mk6 fiesta facelift as the 1.6 tdci version as my daily and love it. Since over 215.000 m no problems at all!

Absolute great reliable cars..My wife still have the 2005 1200 with not even a single problem so far..We had also the 1400 version .The only issue is the mirror levers that switch of sometimes..We both have over 200.000 on clocks and we still run even the same clutch disk..❤❤❤❤ford what else

The difference between my brazilian Fiesta and your car can be seen by far haha. From the dashboard witch it's clearly made of better materials on yours, up to the 2.0 engine compared with the 1.6 Zetec on mine. The similar model in Brazil is Ford Focus only.

In my opinion the car does not really accelerate like it had 150hp. Maybe because I'm used to turbocharged engines, or it is heavier than you'd think, idk.. And to me it sounds like the exhaust has fallen off or something.

Hey! I own one of these! Two of three brands for you! Milltek Cobra Sport And maybe Scorpion. And PLEASE, leave the cat alone. Also, get an exhaust with both a resonator and a Silencer, or it will sound tacky. At least this is my opinion the subject haha. Watch some videos to get an Idea! Have fun with it!! ;)

@@kisatosynthstar1997 < exactly what he said - leave the cats otherwise it will sound raspy like a 1.4 civic with a straight pipe. As for the exhaust I'm running full resonated milltek on mine (except for the cats) and it sounds mint, not very loud when just cruising but when you put your foot down it sings. Especially in higher gears between 2-4k rpm the sound is just music to your ears. Also get a cold air intake - it makes a lot bigger difference to the sound than you would think.
