Cleaned and gapped my tan colored plugs. Easy. Make sure you use a rubber end socket to lift plug out. Not too tight, just snug or you'll strip threads!

Thanks for the video, I am about to change spark plugs for my CRV 2005. Now I know what is exactly expected. The service guy would charge me $260. Doing it myself $50

IMO he overtightened it wayyyy too much. Just barely enough is good. It's soft aluminum. Better it come loose than strip it. The 2nd turn he made was perfect. The 3rd and 4th after those was excessive, I grimaced.

Could be it took a few turns to crush the washer on the plug, but yeah i try to use a torque wrench whenever possible to eliminate the guess work.

Torque spec (no anti-seize): 13 ft-lbs. Or .. Once you feel the gasket start to compress, go to 2/3 turn, done.

Those are Nipondenso made in Japan coils!! They last 500.000 miles why would yo need to replace them? You have a 3/8 torque wrench set at 13lbs (I also have a 2005 Honda CRV and that's what the specs call for) and you should have one foot long 3/8 rubber hose when you're putting new plugs in not to cross rhe threads instead of using a wrench also you don't set your ratchet on top of the plugs for the quails and all the electrical.

No offense, but saying, "don't put it too loose and don't over tighten it.." means absolutely nothing. Best provide the torque spec.

They’re spark plugs, no need to over complicate it with exact torque specs. You’re not installing head bolts lol
