During the final laps of the 2005 San Marino GP, British station ITV decided to break away from the lead battle to go to commercial, causing a bit of a controversy.

This is not accurate. The final ad break started with three laps left to run and they did return to the race at the start of the last lap. This cut has been "humourously" edited.
