i am loving it, it has alot of trunk space so to speak if i were to put a tv back there, the opening is wide and i would be able to stick it in, i like how they did that. plus there is tons of backseat space for a coupe, kinda like a toyota solara

I’m not a fan of xA xB or xD either, They look like freaking Nissan cubes... The tC apparently stands for “Toyota Celica” And I could see it as being a successor to the Celica because of it’s FWD and also it carries on the look of the Celica.

@MKremer1215 I'm 6'1" have an '07 tC. Headroom is definitely not a problem. The driver's side seat is adjustable as well. My only complaint is that the side bolstering is designed for Hank Hill. It's far too narrow on the seat bottom and too wide on the seat back.

@sciondvr You can do this to turn on/off the little needle jump that happens every time you start you car. 1. Make sure that a trip meter (I used A) is active - not the odometer 2. Press and hold the trip meter reset button 3. Turn key to -on- position - do not start the car just turn the key 4. After a short time a message is displayed to show you whether the -jump- is enabled or disabled. Sorry, I can-t remember exactly what is displayed but it should be plainly obvious.

@flashback1341 Yes, Scion is a division of Toyota, as is Lexus. That's why when you pop the hood of any Lexus or Scion, you will see the Toyota emblem on the engine.

you can tune it up and make it a respectable car. considering it only has a 2.4L it would be respectable for this car to go 0-60 in 5-6 seconds. its not a sports car. but its a car that is faster than your average honda civic, or toyota camry

@Hordesthugz13 manual. I would advise getting these in automatic as the manuals have poorly spaced ratios and the clutch pedal feels vague on engagement causing you to jerk the car from lights.

If you were to take it to a detailing service, a full detail usually costs about $100. If you want to take out the extreme details, and just have them wash it, wax it, vacuum it, that's about $50.

@HipsterLiciouss The price of the older models (09 and lower) its definitely a good buy. Toyota reliability, definitely fun to drive, endless customization options, the back seat recline, all glass roof, I could go on forever. MPG however, for me at least, is somewhat decent. It really depends how you drive it, if you have a lead foot obviously your MPG is gonna suck, if you drive like a grandma you'll get 300+ miles on a tank.

They added steering wheel audio controls and a different audio head unit that replaced volume adjust buttons with a center volume knob in 06. Aside from that it's the same vehicle. Bought mine late in 05 , (06modelyear) and have had no problems with it after 45k miles. Just can't stand driving it though, gearing is so short that you have to be cruising at 3500 rpms on the highway to keep up with traffic at 70-75mph, fuel economy is terrible for a 2 door and thats with a light foot.

@PoetryonMusic ooh cool ya i can only afford like a 06 model. ya a teenager that has the money from lifeguarding so its not alot buts its enough. ya i live by syracuse so lake effect is bad up here. we had like 3 feet of snow just from 1 band in december. it was bad thats why i want to know how this car is in the snow.
