Witam. Mam pytanie odnosnie tego silnika w tej wersi outbacka czyli 2.5. 165 km. Jak z jego żywnością, bo 2.5 owiane jest legendą jako silniki awaryjne( porównując 2.0 gdzie niby są pancerne) .Być może to mit lub nie o tą jednostkę chodzi. No i czy ten silnik nadaje sie pod instalację lpg.? Będę wdzieczny za konkretną odpowiedź.

Is this with or without turbo? im guessing without because I dont hear any whistling=) Ive read that these engines are almost identical to the STI, meaning you can add a turbo, intercooler and some other parts from the "rally" version of subaru without problems. Have you driven the automatic? ive heard that they can be slow and gear shifting is quite annoying! Im considering the 2006 outback, 2,5i, sadly there are no manuals available so if anyone here could give some advice, specially about the aut gearbox?

I don't know if this helps since you posted this comment 2 months ago, but if it does then here you go, I own a 2003 Subaru legacy b5 2.5 automatic, the shifting is pretty quick in my experiance. it has 4 gears and the first three are fairly short, the 4th gear is pretty long so you can drive sporty up until 4th gear wich will kick in around 100Km/h mark. It has manual shifting mode, sports mode, and normal automatic mode for casual driving. and i'm pretty sure it is faster then my old E46 2.5L manual BMW

I learned to drive in a 2008 outback with an auto. Shifting is smooth and quick, but its an auto, they all shift just about the same. As for mods, the engines are extremely similar in almost every way minus some very small details. But almost everything is interchangeable depending on years, like 2004-2007 or 1996-2003

manual is so painful to drive in city... no you're not a race car driver buddy you're in traffic. lol. I wish I could live in the countryside and have my manual 4x4 pick up truck now that'd be something. Still tho, theres something so nostalgic about those subaru mechanical noises.. so familiar lol

brykam tą furą już jakiś czas, jest doskonała, od 4x4 po wnętrze... no i sprint do 120 km/h... chwila. W mieście trzeba się pilnować :) jak ktoś się rozmnożył i szuka kombi z przytupem, warto. zawieszenie czołg, dzielnie znosi Polskie drogi, silnik i moc idealne na długie trasy, kilka razy miałem tak, że nie czułem, że zapierdzielam 180 na trasie, a fura po prostu płynie. Terenowy pod bieg to w sumie pic bo trzeba podnieść zawieszenie, żeby wjechać w krzaki, ale przydał się parę razy w zimie. Dla fanów mocy, Chip + turbina albo kompresor i fura zamienia się w bestię :) testowane, urwie wam torbę i wyczyści portfel bo bryka ma apetyt na paliwo nawet na fabrycznych ustawieniach.

A jakie są koszta utrzymania np rozrząd czy zawieszenie . Myślę nad zmianą na ten model ,tylko czy to się opłaci . Pozdrawiam

You need to install TOTAL FLOW 2 CHAMBER ON EACH SIDE ,30 more hp.15 percent MPG INCREASE!My 2005 OUTBACK 23CITY,,,,,34HWY..

You forgot to shift into neutral gear before you went from low gear to hi gear ratio at 3:20

what does this do exactly? its more for offroading as ive read but I guess you can use it also for acceleration, kind of like sport mode with higher revs but in that case, should only work for automatic or am I completely wrong?

You shift into neutral to reduce wear on the syncros and premote the long life of a subaru 5 speed
