Awesome idea about he PVC pipe. I have replaced three of the door handles on my 2009 and always was in terror of dropping the screw. Never trusted the magnetic socket insert. This is the ideal backup to not loosing the screw. Good job and nice step by step is you haven't done this before or really forgot how you did the last one two years ago.

I was in a bone yard a took a couple off a Sonata. I wanted to get the screws but didn't have much to work with so I found a piece of paper and rolled it up into a tube and stuffed it in along with my wrench to keep the screw from falling down. On back door the screw stays with the plastic but i wanted it out to keep as well so I used the paper roll along with a wood stick to push the screw through ( getting rustic I know ) that screw I had to get out the outside hole and a magnet would have been helpful but I managed to not let it drop into the door. Putting it back together I will probably use some glue or something to hold it in the socket. Of course I taped my socket to extension.

These door handles are made so damn cheap, had driver side passenger out for a while, and today just pulled normally and it broke thanks for the video going to try tomorrow
